     Douglass H. Shermeta earned his Bachelors Degree (B.A.) from the University of Michigan in 1966 and his law degree (J.D.) from Wayne State University in 1969. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1970 and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan in 1971. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan; American Bar Association and the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys. His practice areas are: Bankruptcy Law, Creditor’s Law and Consumer Law.

Kyle J. Von Allmen earned his Bachelors Degree (B.S.) in Marketing from Oral Roberts University 1990 and his law degree (J.D.) from Detroit College of Law-Michigan State University in 1994. He is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan, the U.S. District Court – Eastern District of Michigan and the U.S. District Court – Western District of Michigan. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Oakland County Bar Association, the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys and the Commercial Law League of America. His practice areas are Creditor’s Rights, Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Law. Kyle is also admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio.

Tricia N. McKinnon earned her Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) from Central Michigan University in 1996 and her law degree from the University of Toledo in 1999. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1999, U.S. District Court - Eastern Division of Michigan in 2003, and the U.S. District Court - Western Division of Michigan, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Consumer Bankruptcy Association, the Bay Mills Indian Community Tribal Court, the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribal Court, and the Sault Ste. Marie Tribal Court in 2004. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan. She received the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence in 1999 and was a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute from 1999-2001. Her practice areas are Creditor's Rights, Consumer Law, and Bankruptcy Law. Tricia is also admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio.

Deborah A.      Barbara L. Adams earned her Bachelors Degree (B.A.) from Western Michigan University in 1961, her Masters Degree (M.A.) from Ball State University in 1965 and her law degree (J.D.) from Wayne State University in 1984. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan in 1984 and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Michigan in 1993. Her practice areas are Creditors’ Rights, Consumer Law and Commercial Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (Vice President), the Michigan Creditors Bar Association (Co-chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee), the American Bankruptcy Institute, the American Collection Association (MAP), Debt Buyers’ Association and the Consumer Law League of America. Ms. Adams lectures frequently on the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act for several organizations including NARCA, the Michigan Creditors Bar Association and the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) of the Michigan State Bar.
